After successful runs at both the New Zealand and Sydney Fringe Festivals, seasoned performer Liv Tennet brings her award-winning show For You To Know And Me To Find Out to the 2026 Adelaide Fringe. The performance explores motherhood as a creative artist, and Tennet’s constant pull between pursuing her art and devoting herself to raising her child.

This show combines genres, seamlessly slipping between dance styles including contemporary, tap, ‘rock, pop, jazz, classical’: a little bit of everything. Tennet’s musicality and vast professional experience is evident, with every step taken and every facial expression contributing to the story on stage. From fighting exhaustion and the physical toll of pregnancy, to the difficulty of balancing motherhood, artistry and experiencing early adulthood as a young mother, to the endless pursuit to be a ‘cool mum’, Tennet communicates every emotion of her past four years with ease and fluidity.

It’s a beautiful portrayal of womanhood and motherhood expressed through movement, capturing perfectly the highs and lows women face when considering, expecting and raising children. Tennet is a true artist, and though her show expresses many heavy feelings, there is no doubt that she is doing fabulous work as a creative and a mother.

For You to Know and Me to Find Out is playing at the Studio Theatre at Goodwood Theatre and Studios from March 18 – 21
