
This weekend, explore the love and devotion of Asian art at the Art Gallery’s latest exhibition, or see the beauty of the changing seasons at the Autumn Rose Show.
Bundanon’s touring exhibition Fantastic Forms is celebrating the creativity of the human imagination at the David Roche Gallery. This display features more than 200 works from the Bundanon collection, highlighting the expansive artistry of potter Merric Boyd (1888-1959) in conjunction with three contemporary Australian artists, Rubyrose Bancroft, Stephen Benwell and Nabilah Nordin. This exhibition captures Boyd’s essence of energy, movement and colour through blending mediums of ceramics, drawings, sculpture and animation.

Touching the Divine: Love and Devotion in Asian Art explores the sacred expressions of love and passion across Asia. Displayed in the lower Melrose wing of the Art Gallery of South Australia, this collection showcases works that illustrate the concepts of divine devotion from Buddhism, Hinduism, and Islam in a variety of media. Visit to appreciate the romance reflected in the artistic expression from a diversity of cultural beliefs.

The national wheelchair rugby team, the Australian Steelers, make a return this weekend to take on the world’s best at the Santos Wheelchair Rugby World Challenge. The team, currently ranked second in the world, will compete at the event, which features four days of competition, as well as activities and opportunities for the spectators to interact with the athletes. It is hosted at the State Basketball Centre in Wayville.
