The National Wine Centre’s monthly fixture returns to highlight the wines of Mount Gambier. On the last Friday of each month, a line-up of some of the best wineries from a particular region come together to share the stories, people and drops of the area. Enjoy free tastings, roaming canapes and live music. Wines are available by the glass or the bottle and no reservations or bookings are required.

This weekend the Adelaide Central Market transforms into a seafood lover’s haven. Enjoy freshly shucked oysters and ice cold champagne as well as live music, live cooking demonstrations and plenty of seafood specials including the return of Sprout’s popular Chilli Crab Shack. There is also a kids cooking class on Saturday, August 29 complete with a guided shopping tour of the Market.
The Art of Pastry

Discover the art of pastry making with Swiss-Australian cook, educator and culinary storyteller Anita Robin. In this pastry-focused class create up to eight sweet and savoury treats including choux, soufflé, lava cakes and strudel. Suited to beginners and experienced bakers alike, this all-inclusive, four-hour package includes a three-course meal and drinks and a take-home recipe booklet. This class takes place at Anita’s kitchen in Goolwa and costs $190.
The Power of Colour

Journey into a wondrous world of abstraction imagined established painters Kari Bienert and Greta Laundy at Mezzanine 55 as a part of SALA Festival. The Power of Colour explores the importance of colour in shifting our consciousness and creating a state of liberation. These two artists come together for the first time to share their love of colour vast experience in painting and exhibiting internationally and nationally.
