This weekend, soak up the sun at LIV Golf, indulge at Asia Oasis Street Food Festival by the Sea, or get digging at the Harvest Garden Festival.
Named the World’s Best Golf Event by the World Golf Awards for three consecutive years, LIV Golf returns to Grange Golf Club for its fourth Adelaide season. Golfing icons such as Jon Rahm, Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau are a part of a stacked line up of 54 of the world’s best – including Australia’s own Cameron Smith and Ripper GC. After more than 100,000 fans attended last year, expect more entertainment for the 2026 season with Peking Duk, Royel Otis, John Summit and FISHER set to headline across the new four-day format.

The sights, sounds and flavours of Asia return to Glenelg for the fourth year this weekend. The Asia Oasis Street Food Festival by the Sea continues its tradition of bringing communities together through celebrating the best of Asian culture across 10 days full of live music, performing arts and the best food Asia has to offer. The Street Food Festival takes place on the Glenelg Foreshore and entry is free.

Be inspired this weekend at Open Gardens SA’s Harvest Festival. If you love growing food, dreaming of a more productive garden, or simply enjoy wandering through beautiful, generous gardens, the Harvest Garden Festival is the perfect way to spend this weekend. Across the Adelaide Hills and beyond, passionate gardeners are opening their gates to share ideas, inspiration and practical know-how for growing food at home. From raised and wicking beds to espaliered fruit trees, irrigation systems and clever ways to deal with pests, these are real gardens with real solutions — and plenty of lessons you can take home. Throughout the weekend you’ll find talks and demonstrations on composting, sustainable gardening, and caring for chooks, all led by people who have been doing this for years. Funds raised support Food on the Table, helping provide free, nutritious meals to South Australians in need. Many participating gardeners even donate their surplus fruit to local charities — a wonderful reminder of how growing food can strengthen communities.

The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra opens its milestone 90th year with the first instalment of its symphony series Jupiter this weekend. Led by British conductor Douglas Boyd, this season opener will spark to life with an Australian premiere of Mark-Anthony Turnage’s Go For It. Konstantin Shamray also joins the program for Rachmaninov’s Second Piano Concerto and finally, Mozart’s Jupiter lifts the evening in a triumphant crescendo to finish. The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra’s Symphony Series one, Jupiter, is on at Adelaide Town Hall.
