Winter Warmers: a mulled wine masterclass

The Nutcracker Act II and other works

The Australian Ballet arrives in Adelaide with a suite of classical favourites and new works. The program showcases the best of The Australian Ballet School’s and The Australian Ballet’s extensive repertoire including Act II of The Nutcracker and Tchaikovsky Pas de Deux. The program also features two world premieres – Stephanie Lake’s Chrysalis and Sandra Parker’s We Dance. Discover the joy of ballet as The Australian Ballet graces the stage at Dunstan Playhouse.
Gold Ribbon Gala

The Childhood Cancer Association’s signature fundraising event returns this weekend, inviting the community to step into an enchanted garden. Come together in an evening of generosity and purpose, while enjoying a premium three-course dinner paired with a five-hour drinks package, plus entertainment from The 60 Four, raffles and live and silent auctions. The Childhood Cancer Association supports more than 450 families annually, with last year’s Gold Ribbon Gala raising more than $270,000. This event is on at the Adelaide Convention Centre and tickets are $275.

Bluey’s Big Play The Stage Show
August 12-13
This adaptation of Windmill Theatre Company’s hit television show that has delighted fans across the globe returns home for an encore tour. Dad wants an afternoon time out, but Bluey and Bingo have other plans and they’re determined to get Dad off the bean bag. The Emmy award-winning show comes alive at Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre in Mount Gambier August 12 to 13 before making its way to Chaffey Theatre in Renmark on Sunday, August 16.
