Celebrate pride at Poppin Out or support local music and get along to one of the many Good Music Month events.

Poppin Out

November 7

The Adelaide Pride March kicks on at Mary’s Poppin where the fun spills out onto Synagogue Place in a glittering celebration of drag, music, pride and queer joy. This year’s fixture features a packed line-up of 32 performers comprising interstate talents and fierce local favourites. Expect back-to-back drag shows, DJs and pride celebrations from the early evening and into the night. The party continues inside Mary’s Poppin until late following the open-air celebration.

Good Music Month

November 1-30

Join MusicSA in celebrating live, local music all month long. This state-wide open access festival of music aims to connect South Australia’s vibrant music scene with more than 100 events across venues, parks and open spaces, connecting artists with audiences. Expect a wide range of events from intimate blues in local pubs to larger scale ticketed concerts – there is something for everyone. See the 2026 program for the full list of events.

Wish You Were Here!

November 9-14

The Adelaide Central School of Art’s annual fundraiser returns this weekend to raise funds for its 2027 program. The school’s community of artists including Anna Platten, Daryl Austin, Jess Mara, Sam Gold, Alison Smiles, Lucia Dohrmann, Nicholas Hanisch, Jake Yang, Nicole Clift and Amber Cronin have donated original postcard-sized artworks. Each piece is $100 and the artist’s identity is kept a mystery during the exhibition. These works make unique Christmas gifts and great additions to contemporary collections with so many established and emerging local artists involved.

Zumba Festival

November 7

Expect high energy and a focus on fitness and fun as Adelaide Zumba Festival seeks to connect health-conscious people and dance lovers with a passion for movement and wellbeing. 17 guest Zumba instructors and their crews – including Australian zumba education specialist Jarrod Tucker and Adelaide’s own Bridget Campbell – welcome all ages and fitness levels for an afternoon celebrating one of the world’s most popular dance fitness programs at Cosgrove Hall in Clovelly Park.

Artworks ‘ZEBRE’ and ‘CAMUS’ DREAM’ by Cristopher Orchard

BMGART at The Mezzanine

November 7-21

Christopher Orchard’s exhibition, on at The Mezzanine in Kent Town, is named after the question posed by South African contemporary artist William Jentridge: Can We be Other Than Who We Are? Christopher carried this question with him as he took on a three-month residency in London earlier this year. The result is his body of work, now on display, that questions the notion of a fixed self.
