Feast Festival

November 1-22

This bold celebration of queer art, culture and community returns to brighten up South Australia this month. Local, interstate and international artists come together to present across a range of genres including burlesque, drag, visual art, spoken word, comedy, film, music and dance. Feast favourite Picnic in the Park also returns on Sunday, November 22, closing the festival with a day of live music, workshops, market stalls, food, drinks and the popular Feast Dog Show. See the program for the full list of Feast events across Adelaide and Regional South Australia.

Adelaide Italian Festival

November 1-22

Returning for its milestone 50th year, this beloved festival takes a trip down memory lane with all the favourites and traditional Italian fare. This year’s program is extended and kicks off with San Remo’s La Grande Gita in McLaren Vale. After a two-year hiatus, the Italian Food Festival returns to deck out the East End in green, white and red – expect pop-up food vendors, live music and entertainment, and activities for the kids. If you’re after something more refined, indulge in La Tavolata at Enoteca – a long lunch with paired wines and live entertainment.

Walk with a Pal

November 1

Join HAS Foundation to walk for a cause this month. It is approaching 12 years since founders of the organisation Ella and Jarrod Stratton lost their son Hunter to a life-limiting illness and they now invite others who might have someone they’d like to remember or to walk for to join the annual trek from Henley Beach to Grange. The event welcomes prams, wheelchairs and even four legged friends to show support for those in palliative care and to connect and reflect. Register for the event through HAS Foundation’s website.

Expect big vocals and a live band staged in the style of a 1960s variety television show.
