Beachside Food and Wine Festival | Saturday, February 7

Experience a blend of local flavours and coastal views when Beachside Food and Wine Festival returns to Rotary Park at Christies Beach. With more than 70 food stalls, market stalls and drinks vendors, the festival has expanded its site as it gears up for its biggest year yet, complete with live entertainment from local talent across two stages.

Glenelg Ice Cream Festival | Friday, February 6

Cool off this February with everyone’s favourite summer sweet treat when the Glenelg Ice Cream Festival returns. Live entertainment and children’s activities will provide fun for the whole family while you soak in the atmosphere of the Bay and warm summer evenings, and indulge in all the ice cream you can eat – and then some. The Glenelg Ice Cream Festival is a free event that takes place on Jetty Road, Glenelg.

Bloco do Segutra Rápido Carnival Glenelg | Saturday, February 2

Celebrate Brazilian style as this pop-up street carnival returns to the Glenelg Esplanade for its third year. The day kicks off with a carnival in Mosley Square before the parade fills the bay with the sounds of Brazil, lead by a group of 20 musicians playing traditional carnival songs as well as Brazilian and contemporary anthems. Finally, celebrate into the night with an after party at the Glenelg Pier Hotel. Entry is free and all ages are welcome.

Gilles at the Grounds Night Market | Saturday, February 7

Gilles at the Grounds returns this weekend with a night market for its first 2026 fixture. Soak in the atmosphere and enjoy a warm summer evening as more than 100 market traders offer their bespoke and artisan goods at the Adelaide Showground. Also enjoy the Gilles Bar and some of the best local food vendors in a relaxed picnic-style setting, with local musicians adding to the atmosphere.

Robe Run | Saturday, February 7

Put yourself to the test as the Robe Run returns for its fourth edition this weekend. Choose to take on the full 42.2 kilometre marathon, the 21.2 kilometre half marathon, the 14 kilometre run or the 5 kilometre fun run, depending on your skill set. Travel the trails and take in the picturesque views of the iconic Limestone Coast. All distances start and finish at the Foreshore Reserve.

Bluey’s Big Play | Until Sunday, February 8

The theatrical adaptation of the Emmy award-winning Australian-made children’s series returns home for an encore tour. Bluey’s Big Play, in association with Adelaide’s Windmill Theatre Co, follows the mischief Bluey and Bingo get up to as they try to foil Dad’s plans of a quiet afternoon. Join the Heelers in their first live theatre show that has been a global success from Madison Square Garden to London’s Royal Festival Hall. Bluey’s Big Play is showing at Her Majesty’s Theatre.

WOMADelaide | March 6-9

Book your tickets before Australia’s most diverse festival sells out as it returns over the upcoming March long weekend. Across four days, more than 60 artists from almost 40 countries take to the WOMADelaide stage. Lineup highlights include Yothu Yindi, Grace Jones, Obongjayar, Baker Boy, Marlon Williams, and Arrested Development. Festival favourites Taste the World, WoMarkets, KidZone, Planet Talks and The Sanctuary Restaurant also return to Botanic Park/Tainmuntilla.
