The performer delivers a fiery, tongue-in-cheek celebration of redheads. ★★★★

Celebrating her tenth year at Adelaide Fringe, Australia’s number one drama queen is back with another scandalous show. Tash York is bold, Tash York is petty, Tash York is drop red gorgeousBring your vigour and energy to celebrate the beauty of redheads (including those not born a red but who wholeheartedly identify as one).

Accompanied by the always glorious Peppy Smears and dazzled in everything red and dangerous, York is here to tell you just how gorgeous she is… and, okay, maybe most other redheads too because this is the show that celebrates who redheads are and is definitely not just about Tash York. So grab a box dye and get involved with this mildly interactive but highly entertaining cabaret. With original lyrics added to some well-known songs, sing an ode to red wine and the shape of boobs: York grabs the chance to prove her loyalty to the ginge by singing as many songs by redheaded artists as possible in one hour.

Tash York is Drop Red Gorgeous is playing in the BankSA Theatre at Gluttony in Rymill Park from March 17 – 22
