It’s a love letter to Paris and a promise to herself in a heartbreaking story that intertwines cabaret, comedy and what it means to yearn for a dream. From powerful ballads to tender, haunting moments of soul-baring transparency, performer Ines de las Sierras exudes humility. She floods the senses with an unmistakable strength of expression and the raw energy compressed into the notes of each song carries the story and reaches the audience in a way that allows for total immersion. Entirely in French, some moments are hard to follow, but the language barrier doesn’t take away from the narrative.
