The well-liked covers band deliver an undeniable hits collection. ★★★★★

On a sweltering summer evening, local favourites The 60 Four burst onto the stage to a chorus of roaring applause, setting us up for an electric evening. They’re here to help you boogie your way into the groovy beats of the 70s, with covers from the likes of KISS, Bee Gees, The Eagles and more.
Proud products of South Australia, the wholesome foursome capture the soul of Fringe, blending Las Vegas-style flair with well-known pop classics. Their first song is a jolt of pure adrenaline: Bee Gees’ number ‘You Should Be Dancing’ is bright, loud and magnetic. Mid-set, trusty Eagles’ favourite ‘Take It Easy’ tones down the energy, before ramping back up with more rock ‘n’ roll favourites. Stellar and slick dance moves add a va-va-voom factor. The band deliver a solid backbone and the singers are quick to honour their work.
The finale (an ABBA medley, complete with a cheeky costume change) hit the high spots and proved this group of high school mates are well on their way to cementing their status as local legends, if they’re not there already, given this is their tenth year at the Adelaide Fringe.
Living In The ‘70s By The 60 Four ran from February 20 – March 1. Hits Of The ‘60s And ‘70s runs at Hopgood Theatre Norwood Concert Hall and Shedley Theatre from March 7 – March 28
