With tricks that appeal to all ages, Basketballman plays a slam-dunking superhero. ★★★★

Every child has their favourite superhero and nothing’s more exciting than seeing them change into their costume and stand ready to do battle for good. Well, listen up, because BasketballMan is here on the streets of Adelaide and he needs your help to save the day. Capturing the attention of old and young alike, BasketballMan Can Fly is a show where everyone is encouraged to get involved and make some noise.
From the moment the lights dim and BasketballMan arrives, the place feels electric, all eyes sparkling with delight and anticipation. He immediately launches into his superior freestyle basketball skills, unleashing his entire repertoire including dribbling, finger spinning and big action poses, just to name a few. Checking every box for entertainment, BasketballMan introduces slapstick shenanigans and sensational tricks with puns aplenty; even the music plays a comedic role. Forget about the outside world: the whole room is either on the edge of their seats or on their feet laughing, cheering, and clapping. The simplicity of the story is easy to grasp, but nothing can prepare you for the final exhibition.
This is a true experience where even small audience members will feel like they are a part of something bigger and, while everyone will get a kick out of this show, kids especially will have a blast. With his three-pointer one-liners and slam-dunk moves, this is one show where the fun lives on long after the final siren.
BasketballMan Can Fly is playing at Garage International at Adelaide Town Hall from February 21 – March 9
