Brydie and Nathan met after Nathan’s mother Lyn set them up, with the couple later becoming engaged in New Zealand.
For their big day, the bride wore a veil that has been in Nathan’s family for more than 60 years, previously worn by both his mother and grandmother. It was then hand-embroidered especially for Brydie. Nathan said his bride was stunning. “Seeing Brydie walk down the aisle was an unforgettable moment,” Nathan says. “I felt this huge wave of relief – and was completely stunned by her dress. She’d led me to believe it would be something totally different, so it was a real surprise … and she looked absolutely incredible.” Brydie says a quiet moment shared together was beautiful. “We just took it all in – the colours, the laughter – and reflected on what had just happened. We were married!”.
