Experienced health leader Steve Morris has been appointed as the new CEO of St John Ambulance SA.

Morris has extensive experience in senior executive roles across the health sector, including as CEO of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia and CEO of Arthritis SA.
As CEO of NPS MedcineWise, Morris oversaw optimising operations, where he secured major funding agreements and strengthened service delivery and community impact.
Morris was also executive director of SA pharmacy at SA Health and is a member of several different boards, including the Women’s and Children’s Health Network and Asthma Australia.
“Steve is an accomplished and values-driven leader with a strong track record of leading complex organisations through transformation, strengthening governance, and delivering sustainable growth,” St John Ambulance SA chair Mary Patetsos said.
Legal Services Commission of SA has appointed Anna O’Brien as its new director of family law.

O’Brien has extensive family law experience across the private sector, having served as a solicitor for Mahony’s Lawyers Mount Gambier firm and as a solicitor at the Woodville firm.
Prior to the new role, O’Brien was a solicitor for the family law practice division at the Legal Services Commission, where she specialised in child representation and led the Independent Children’s Lawyer and Care and Protection teams.
She has a background in court advocacy, staff supervision and mentoring and is known for her expertise and strong commitment to supporting vulnerable children and families.
“Anna’s experience, judgement, and collaborative approach position her well to lead a division that is expanding its resources and services to meet community needs,” Legal Services CEO Annmarie Lumsden said.
Flinders University has appointed Jeremy Pudney as its new director of media and communications.
Pudney has more than 30 years of experience in the media industry and recently held the role as Adelaide’s news director for Nine Entertainment for the past eight years.
Prior to his time at Nine, he spent 14 years at Network Ten in Adelaide and Melbourne, serving as Melbourne’s chief of staff and Adelaide’s director of news of the course of his tenure.
He started his career in the media industry more than 30 years ago, working at The Advertiser as a police reporter.
“During my time in newsrooms, I’ve seen so many astounding stories, so many amazing places and, above all, worked alongside so many brilliant, dedicated and passionate people at Nine, Ten and News Corp Australia,” Pudney said.

Glenn Farrell has been re-appointed as the executive director of SafeWork SA for another three-year term until 2029.

In his role as executive director, Farrell will be responsible for providing SafeWork SA strategic leadership and management to deliver Work Health and Safety, Industrial Relations and Public Safety regulatory and education services across the state.
Farrell has been with SafeWork SA for more than two decades, having held a range of senior roles, including director of compliance and enforcement.
As director of workplace education and business services, Farrell led the educator arm of SA’s Workplace, Health and Safety Regulatory Authority and provided advice and support to affect positive health and safety outcomes.
Prior to SafeWork SA, Farrell was the shift supervisor at Rolls-Royce in the UK, where he supervised the manufacturing and delivery of critical class gas turbine compressor assemblies for the commercial aerospace industry.
Jai Kaur has been appointed as ACH Group’s new executive manager of care and residential services.

In the role, Kaur will oversee clinical care for ACH Group’s residents and customers while overseeing the operations of six residential care homes in metropolitan Adelaide.
Kaur is an experienced executive leader within the public health sector, including as a quality assessor, where she reviewed aged care services to ensure they met the national health and aged care quality standards.
She has also served as chair of the Australian College of Nursing and as an advanced divisional nursing director for the Women’s and Children’s Health Network.
“I’m looking forward to supporting our teams to deliver high-quality care that meets the evolving expectations of residents, families and the new regulatory environment,” she said.
Business software developer Prophecy International has named David Collins as a director of the company.
Collins is an experienced finance and management executive and currently serves as the managing director and CEO of healthcare equipment provider Paragon Care Limited.
He has also held the role of CEO and managing director of CH2 Clifford Hallam Healthcare since December 2015, after previously serving as chief financial officer for the company from 2005 to 2008.
Collins is a major shareholder and chairman of Australian-founded travel technology company Aero Travel Solution, where he oversees the company’s airline retailing, distribution and booking solutions.

Financial advisory service Findex has appointed Jeremy Leach as its local lead and stakeholder lead to strengthen its strategic presence in South Australia.

Leach has 16 years of experience at Findex, serving as a financial adviser and associate partner, where he supported the firm’s technology advancement across its national network.
In his new role, Leach will be responsible for exploring merger and acquisition opportunities, assisting in driving business growth and identifying local expansion opportunities.
He was also a board member and treasurer for Triathlon South Australia for almost seven years, where he provided governance to support members and affiliated triathlon and multisport clubs.
