"The last photo I took of my two boys, just two days prior. I was so incredibly rich in life because of you. Now my heart is shattered into a million pieces. Huddy and I will love you and miss you forever and ever and ever."

Jaryd Dawson’s wife Jessica has posted this emotional tribute along with a photograph of her husband with their son Hudson on social media.

The body of Jaryd Dawson – also the older brother of Adelaide Crows captain Jordan Dawson – was found in the South East of South Australia on Wednesday afternoon.

It followed Jaryd Dawson’s wife Jessica earlier issuing a plea on social media asking for news and saying her husband had been missing in Robe since around 2.30pm on Tuesday.

SA Police told InDaily that police, with the assistance of emergency services, had been searching for the 35-year-old man in Robe.

“SAPOL is preparing a report for the coroner following the death of a man in the state’s south-east,” a police spokesperson said.

“There are no suspicious circumstances and SAPOL is requesting respect for the family’s privacy.”

Jaryd was also the co-founder of Domus Design & Build, a boutique home building company based in Robe.

The Adelaide Football Club released a statement saying it was deeply saddened by the passing of Jaryd Dawson, the brother of Crows Captain Jordan Dawson.
