A vintage car reported stolen earlier this year has been found … in a very bizarre place. See where it was found by SA police.

A distinctive vintage car that was reportedly stolen has been found by police – buried in the backyard of a Hayborough property.
Police said the 1952 Ford Anglier Tourer was stolen from a shed sometime between January 24 and March 5 this year.
But it was found last Monday – dismantled and buried in the backyard of home near Victor Harbor.

Police said along with the car, they also found illegal ammunition, a high‑powered laser, weapons and drugs.
A “significant amount of stolen property” was also found, police claimed, most of which has since been returned to its owners.
However, the owners of three bicycles are still being sought, police said.

A 38‑year‑old man, who lives at the property, was arrested and charged with numerous offences, including unlawful possession, possessing ammunition without a licence and possessing a prohibited weapon, police said.
He was refused bail and appeared in the Victor Harbor Magistrates Court on Tuesday 17 March, where he was remanded in custody.
