Internationally-renowned DJs and local music producers are set to hit the Adelaide Park Lands in a brand-new summer festival. See the full lineup.

Some of the world’s top DJ’s will headline Good News festival, a brand-new electronic music festival that will hit the Adelaide Park Lands in December.

Organised by Company Works, the same team behind Sidebyside Festival, Sanctuary and Places, the Good News festival will bring together Australian and international artists to an open-air dancefloor.

The Boxing Day event will take place at Bonython Park in the city’s west end, the site of former Big Day Out, Stereosonic, Future Music and Soundwave music festivals.

Swedish music producer DJ Seinfeld will headline the festival alongside the Canadian-born Jennifer Loveless who has released her debut album Familiar.

Joining the lineup is Melbourne garage producer Osmosis Jones who recently completed a European tour that included a performance at top London venue Fabric.

Australian favourites Willo and Adelaide’s own Waxx Off will also perform alongside Carla Martinez, Wolters and local selector Zoe Goldfinch.

Company Works director Henry Jarman said there was “a real opportunity to create something special”.

“We’ve seen firsthand that Adelaide has an incredible appetite for community-driven events and we believe this is an important part of the future of our festival industry,” Henry says.

Good News will centre around one stage to allow for a seamless transition between musical acts.

Throughout the Summer day, Pirate Life and Pluto Spirits will provide refreshments, while Braising Boy will be serving up tacos.

The announcement comes amid a string of music festivals cancelling and skipping Adelaide as a destination.

Earlier this year, Harvest Rock canned its 2026 edition, the second time in three years the festival has gone on hiatus, while Laneway Festival, which has recently had headliners Chappell Roan and Charli XCX, announced it would be skipping Adelaide for 2027.

But Company Works director Oscar Harding says the team would “love for Good News to become an annual tradition”.

“Ultimately, we want to create a festival that belongs to Adelaide, brings people together and gives everyone a reason to look forward to Boxing Day,” Oscar says.

“There are so many incredible artists touring Australia over the holiday period, and unfortunately Adelaide often misses out. That’s something we’re actively working to change.”
