Brick by Brick: Police recover mass Lego haul

Two people have been arrested and horse floats were called in to transport masses of stolen Lego discovered in an Adelaide home.

A man and a woman have been arrested and charged after stolen Lego was located by SA Police.

In a statement released today, police said that about 5pm on Tuesday, March 3, Western District police visited a Dudley Park home as part of an ongoing investigation into stolen goods.

They allegedly uncovered a significant amount of Lego in a search of the home that they say is valued at $320,000.

Police said it was suspected that the were stolen from numerous retail stores across the metropolitan area.

Significant resources and logistics were required to transport the items which included two Mounted Police horse floats and 15 pallets to hold the seized Lego.

A 34-year-old woman and 42-year-old man of the property were arrested and charged with theft.

They were bailed to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on the 12 May.
