Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness are dividing up their multimillion-dollar property portfolio following their divorce.
Among the former couple’s real estate assets is a luxury penthouse in New York City purchased for US$21 million (A$32 million) in 2022.
According to reports, Furness paid US$11.7 million (A$18 million) to buy The Greatest Showman star out of the Manhattan pad.
Australian actress Furness, 69, filed for divorce from Jackman, 56, just under a month ago.
She reportedly paid for the property, which has an estimated value of US$23 million (A$36 million), two days before lodging the divorce papers.
The sprawling modernist-style property is in the trendy Manhattan neighbourhood of Chelsea, which is famous for its bars, restaurants and the famous Chelsea Market.
The two-level penthouse spans 464.5 square metres, including three bedrooms, 3½ bathrooms and a private elevator entrance.
The main suite has an oversized dressing room and an opulent ensuite.

Other property features include a sleek chef’s kitchen, open-plan living and dining, a library and a rooftop entertaining area with an outdoor kitchen.
Located on top of a 57-unit building, the apartment has views of the Hudson River and the famous Manhattan skyline through floor-to-ceiling windows.
Jackman and Furness confirmed their separation in September 2023 after 27 years of marriage. They announced their shock split in a joint statement.
“We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage,” it said.
“Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.”
During their relationship, Jackman and Furness amassed a multimillion-dollar property portfolio, including homes in the US, Britain and Australia.
These include a luxury penthouse at North Bondi, which was purchased for $5.925 million in 2015.
A stone’s throw from Bondi Beach, the sprawling three-bedroom penthouse has vast views across the beach and ocean.

Jackman and Furness reportedly also owned a waterfront beach house in the Hamptons, an apartment in London and another apartment in New York City’s West Village.
The couple’s break-up took a bitter turn in recent weeks after Jackman went public with his new relationship with his long-time friend and actress Sutton Foster.
“My heart and compassion go out to everyone who has traversed the traumatic journey of betrayal. It’s a profound wound that cuts deep,” Furness said in a statement in late May.
“However, I believe in a higher power and that God/the universe, whatever you relate to as your guidance, is always working FOR us.
“It can hurt, but in the long run, returning to yourself and living within your own integrity, values and boundaries is liberation and freedom.”
Jackman and Furness met on the set of the Australian television series Correlli in 1995 and married a year later. They share two adult adopted children, son Oscar and daughter Ava.
