Annetay Henderson-Sapir has decided to step down from her position as CEO of The Adelaide Holocaust Museum on July 2.

Henderson-Sapir has held the role since March 2024 and led the museum through a period of significant growth, including the redevelopment of its Wakefield Street premises.
She has held several key roles in South Australia’s Jewish community, including as president of the Jewish Community Council of SA and vice president on the Executive Council of Australian Jewry.
Henderson-Sapir also has extensive experience in government relations, having worked as deputy director for the Department of the Premier and Cabinet where she was responsible for advising senior executives and liaising with senior officials.
“Her professionalism, vision and dedication have ensured that the museum not only continued to operate throughout the redevelopment, but emerged stronger and better positioned for the future,” the museum’s board chair Greg Adams said.
Matt Tarrant has been named the new chair of the Adelaide Fringe Foundation, replacing David Pearson who stepped down after five years.

Tarrant has been a Foundation member since 2023 and a member of the Adelaide Fringe board since October 2025.
He is also a magician, mentalist, producer and performer. Over his more than two decades performing at the Fringe, Tarrant has sold more than 100,000 tickets and won major awards including BankSA Pick of the Fringe.
Tarrant said he would work with Foundation members to help grow philanthropic support for the festival.
“I’m incredibly honoured to have the opportunity to chair the Adelaide Fringe Foundation with the support of our Foundation Members,” Tarrant said.
“As an artist, producer and Adelaide Fringe fanatic for the past twenty-something years, I am excited to ensure our festival continues to be the most accessible and magical festival for generations to come.”
SA-based geospatial tech company Aerometrex has appointed David Di Blasio as its new chief financial officer.

Di Blasio is an experienced senior finance executive, having previously served as chief financial officer for Clean Seas Sustainable Seafood.
Prior to that, Di Blasio held chief financial officer roles at Cooper Energy and Yumbah Aquaculture where he led the reviewing and improving of finance processes and systems.
He also spent more than 13 years at Santos in roles as finance manager for major projects including the Cooper Basin asset and Quadrant Energy acquisition.
“We are delighted to have someone of David’s experience join the team. With 20 years’ experience in ASX listed companies, David will play a pivotal role in executing our ambitious growth plans,” Aerometrex managing director and CEO Rob Veitch said.
Dr Sandra Hewson has been appointed as Xavier College Riverlea Park’s inaugural campus principal ahead of its 2027 opening.

In the new role, Hewson will lead Xavier College’s new campus that will initially cater for students from Reception to Year 6, with a future planned expansion through to Year 12.
She has more than 30 years’ experience in the education sector in the UK, Netherlands and Australia, most recently leading St Mark’s College in Port Pirie since 2022.
Hewson has also been principal of St Joseph’s School in Port Lincoln, and an assistant principal at Kildare College and mount Barker’s St Francis de Sales College.
“She understands the importance of building strong relationships and creating an environment where young people can grow and thrive, making her well placed to lead the new Riverlea Park Campus,” Catholic Education SA executive director Dr Neil McGoran said.

Xie Shaobo has been appointed as a strategic adviser to the board of Adelaide-headquartered gas exploration company Jade Gas.
Shaobo is a finance leader with more than two decades of experience in specialised investment banking and commodities advisory across the Asia-Pacific region.
He was recently managing director and head of metals and mining for North Asia and Greater China for 10 years at Standard Chartered Bank.
He is currently a board member at one of the world’s largest gold mining companies Zijin Gold, where he provides strategic oversight in cross-border mergers and acquisitions and capital markets.

Contemporary arts company Nexus Arts has appointed five new board directors after an extensive recruitment process.
Dominic Stefanson joins as board chair and will bring extensive leadership and strategic engagement experience across arts, corporate and government sectors.
Stefanson has led his own consultancy company Strategic Solutions Co. since 2019 where he provides policy analysis, government relations, and stakeholder management for clients across government and private sector.

Jennette Plooij joins the board after almost two decades in Amsterdam working in senior marketing roles.
She has expertise in marketing, communications and partnership development, and recently returned to Australia where she was appointed head of marketing at the Adelaide Fringe.
Brenda Klose is a chartered accountant with experience in covering financial reporting, governance, and internal controls, leading audit engagements and managing finance teams.

She is the current finance manager at St John’s Grammar School in Belair and was the previous finance manager at Trinity College in Gawler.
Bethany Ashley-Ward has held significant roles across the state’s arts and cultural sector and is the visual arts coordinator at Tutti Arts where she supports disabled and neurodivergent artists in contemporary arts practice.

She has also worked as arts programs and grants officer at Country Arts SA, community partnerships and program lead at Northern Sound System, manager of public programs at the South Australian Museum.
Kate Donnelly joins the board with national and international experience across festival and event management including senior roles at OzAsia Festival and the Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Foundation.
She is the current senior program manager at Adelaide Festival where she works closely with leadership teams across aspects of program delivery, with the role of budget responsibility for a significant portfolio of performances.
