Sustainable energy storage company Iondrive has promoted Lewis Utting to CEO, taking over from outgoing CEO Dr Ebbe Dommisse.

Utting has served as commercial director of Iondrive since November 2024 and was previously CEO of Synrado, where he is currently a director.
He previously held senior roles at SciDev, Utting & Associates, BASF and Hercules Chemicals Australia.
Meanwhile, Dr Duncan Turner has been appointed to the board as a non-executive director.

According to Iondrive, he will provide technical depth in extractive metallurgy and process commercialisation.
“With a solid technical foundation now in place, this leadership transition positions the company to focus on execution and capture growing opportunities across battery recycling, e-waste and solar infrastructure markets,” said Iondrive chair Michael McNeilly.
Sophie Katsaros and Andrew Tulic are joining the SA Business Chamber workplace relations team as senior consultants.

Both consultants have extensive hands-on experience across key areas, including workplace relations, work health and safety, industrial relations, and human relations.
Tulic joins the SA Business Chamber from the Australian Industry Group, where he was most recently a senior advisor and senior associate.
Before this, he was at K + K Legal, where he rose to associate.

Katsaros joins from Charlton Rowley, where she was most recently a senior associate.
SA Business Chamber said that Tulic and Katsaros’s experience will be used in the workplace relations team, which provides tailored advice to help businesses manage risk and address workplace challenges.

Australian professional services consultancy Struber has appointed Sarah Fitzharris as associate director.

Fitzharris brings two decades of experience across government, health, infrastructure and not-for-profit sectors, recently steering the launch of End Food Waste Australia’s 2024 – 2030 strategic Business Plan.
Fitzharris joins from MS Society SA & NT, where she was chief marketing officer.
She previously held communications and marketing roles ranging from communications lead at the Department of Education, senior public affairs officer at SA Health, and media and communications manager at the Women’s & Children’s Hospital Foundation.
“I am thrilled to join Struber as we expand our footprint in the South Australian infrastructure and energy sectors. I look forward to leveraging my experience in complex project delivery to help our clients navigate high-stakes approvals and build the social licence needed to deliver lasting, positive impacts for our community,” Fitzharris said.
Struber works on projects across infrastructure, renewable energy, water, and health sectors.
Seva Surmei has been appointed as a partner in Lynch Meyer Lawyers’ transactions team.

As the firm grows, Surmei brings her experience as a franchise lawyer, with a background in commercial and property matters.
Surmei joins from DMAW Laywers, where she was a principal.
