The Adelaide City Council has released proposed locations for a series of electric vehicle charging stations across the CBD.
Late last year the council announced it would install 40 electric vehicle charging stations in the city.
A report to the council, to be debated at tomorrow night’s meeting, shows nine proposed on-street charging point locations, including spaces at Hindmarsh Square and Light Square.
The council will debate putting out the proposed locations to consultation next month. It will focus on collecting the views of residents and business operators within 50 metres of the proposed locations.
Four charging points are already available in two city U-Parks.
According the report, the locations were selected for the following:
