With ADL Fashion Week just around the corner, mission one was to meet some of the city’s up-and-coming designers.

We chatted with the team industriously organising the upcoming fashion week lineup and discovered the city’s most talented can suddenly materialise right across the city.
It was a befitting surprise when bespoke gown designer Cristina Tridente appeared among the dog owners we met for our Golden Retrievers of Adelaide story.
It hasn’t all been speakeasy.
There were martinis to be tasted in true James Bond GoldenEye-style and we visited some of the best new venues to sample their food and drink offerings.
The team studied some of the city’s best brutalist architecture from some 50 years ago and featured a restaurant cementing its spot as a local institution, Golden Boy.
Always ones to support a party, we took a photographer to the Rundle Mall where the city’s fashion mecca is celebrating its own 50th birthday this year.
There we captured the favourite fits of local fashion designers based in the stunning Adelaide Arcade.
