Adelaide is set to host its inaugural large-scale Brazilian cultural festival, Alma Brazil, this November. The four-day celebration, running from Thursday, November 20 to Sunday, November 23, 2025, will highlight Brazilian culture through music, dance, food, football, art and immersive experiences across various city locations.
The festival’s main event is Viva Brazil! Noite de Cabaret Brasileiro, a glamorous gala dinner and theatrical show on Saturday, November 22, combining Parisian cabaret elegance with Rio Carnival energy. Other highlights include Cores do Brasil!, a month-long art exhibition, Noite Brasil! a tropical cocktail night with a caipirinha masterclass and live bossa nova, Sol Brazil!, a family-friendly beach day featuring football, futvolley, capoeira, samba parades, live music and a sunset DJ set, and Casa Brazil!, which offers hands-on workshops in Brazilian food, dance and creativity.
“Brazilian culture is about joy, connection, and rhythm,” a festival organiser says. “This festival is about sharing that energy, bringing the heartbeat of Brazil to South Australia. Whether you come for the dancing, the food or just to feel the vibe, Alma Brazil! will welcome you with open arms.”
