Start your weekend right at the Art Gallery of South Australia when doors open on the first Friday of every month for a relaxed celebration of art and music.

This First Friday is your last chance to see Radical Textiles, showcasing over 100 artists, designers and activists from the last 150 years. From Vivienne Westwood’s punk to Grayson Perry’s provocation, this must-see exhibition threads chaos with creativity.

Join Gallery Guides for a tour of Radical Textiles or a deep dive into the AGSA collection.

Discover the finest wools, yarns, tools and accessories for knitting and crocheting at Yarn Trader’s pop-up shop and learn to knit with the Cardigang crew.

Experience The Score a contemporary dance performance by dance artist Tanya Voges developed with music by Belinda Gehlert and performed with dancers Amelia Watson and Queenie Wu.

Finally, head to the courtyard to take a sonic journey with the acclaimed DJ TR!P and unwind with food and drink from AGSA_eat.
