2025 SALA Festival

From 1-31 August, South Australia comes alive with visual art and artists! Discover free exhibitions in all kinds of unexpected spaces, meet local artists at artist talks, go on artist-led  tours, see behind the scenes at open studio days, workshops and special events.

With over 700 events in the Program, it’s worth grabbing a copy from your local Foodland store, or heading online to plan your festival experience. Check the map to find the talented artists exhibiting in your area, join an art walking tour, or take advantage of the DIY tours that have been mapped out for you to do at your own pace.

2025 highlights include the unpredictable crowd-favourite SALA Slide Night, the Adelaide Hills to Karoonda Silos Art Bus tour, and quirky tandem drawing night ‘It Takes Two’ with artist Dan Withey.
