Singer, supermodel, Bond villain, fashion icon and now WOMADelaide headline act. Find out which legendary performer will grace the stage in March.

Few artists have shaped pop culture like Grace Jones.
Emerging from the legendary Studio 54 nightclub in Manhattan in the late 1970s, the Jamaican-born powerhouse has become a music legend, fashion icon and art-rock symbol.
And in a major coup for WOMADelaide, Jones will bring her distinctive, husky voice to the stage as Saturday’s headline act.
WOMADelaide director Ian Scobie said he was “delighted” Jones would complete the extraordinary lineup for the 2026 celebration of music.
“She is guaranteed to bring a thrilling and memorable energy to the 2026 festival,” he said.
Tracks like Pull Up to the Bumper, My Jamaican Guy and Slave to the Rhythm have cemented her influence across four decades of pop music.
Now at 77, Jones remains one of the most captivating performers on the stage, with no signs of slowing down.
And, her appearance on Beyonce’s Renaissance album has earned her a new wave of fans.
SA Tourism Minister Zoe Bettison said the announcement was “hugely exciting for the festival and our state.”
The 2026 festival will feature more than 600 artists in 70 groups from 38 countries across the four-day program.
Jones joins a lineup that includes Grammy-winning hip-hop pioneers Arrested Development and iconic Australian band Yothu Yindi.
