A group of teenagers have been charged for luring a 17-year-old into a car and allegedly raping her for more than six hours as they drove around.
A 14-year-old boy was the youngest of the group who allegedly took part in the sexual assault.
Police arrested two men, an 18-year-old and a 19-year-old, on Tuesday for the assault in Sydney’s south-western suburbs in December 2024.
They were charged with a combined 14 counts of aggravated sexual assault. They will both appear before a court on Wednesday, with the younger man fronting a children’s court.
The 17-year-old girl was initially approached by an unknown man at a shopping centre in Liverpool at about 5.30pm.
He followed her to her car, and she reluctantly let him inside before he began sexually assaulting her, police said on Wednesday.
Soon after, the man asked to be driven to a nearby park. The victim agreed, on the understanding he would get out of the car when they arrived.
But two other men got into the car got into the car at the park. It is alleged they also sexually assaulted the girl.
A fourth man then arrived in another car, and the sexual assault continued as the girl was driven around.
The men left the victim in her car at about 11.30pm. She was then able to contact a friend, who took her to a police station to report the incident.
The matter was referred to the State Crime Command’s Sex Crimes Squad, which established Strike Force Dungannon to investigate.
Detectives initially arrested a 16-year-old boy in Condell Park in December 2024. He was charged with 24 offences, including nine counts of sexual intercourse without consent.

Both were refused bail and appeared at a children’s court in December.
After further inquiries, strike force detectives executed simultaneous search warrants in Sadlier and Heckenberg and arrested the other teenagers involved.
