Located near everything from national parks and town centres to hiking tracks and premier surfing spots, South Australia is home to 12 council-owned caravan parks that offer accommodation for different lifestyles, families, and budgets.

Why are caravan parks important for local tourism?

It’s a little-known fact that these caravan parks are community-owned, managed by local councils for the benefit of travellers.

Each site is home to amenities including walking trails, barbeque facilities, coastal and riverside areas, public toilets, decking, and picnic areas, and is regularly maintained to ensure a consistent accommodation experience is provided.
