Not-for-profit organisation SYC has appointed Jenny Hall as its new CEO.

Hall is an experienced CEO and industry leader with a history of working in the health care sector where she has led NDIS transformation, aged care, mental health and human services.
She has previously held several senior executive roles in large organisations, including as the CEO of not-for-profit organisation UnitingSA.
Prior to that, Hall was executive manager of residential services for Helping Hand Aged Care and a senior executive for Home Support Services.
“The SYC board was impressed with Jenny’s strategic and commercial acumen and strong track record leading growth and transformation,” SYC acting chair Arabella Branson said.
DW Fox Tucker Lawyers has announced the appointment of James Geddes as senior associate in the litigation team.

Geddes has extensive experience in insurance, litigation and general commercial matters where he has worked for insurers, government entities and private clients.
He previously worked at BDK Lawyers as special counsel and more than nine years at SA Water as principal solicitor where he managed a variety of legal issues.
Geddes has more than 20 years’ experience across complex litigation and commercial matters, where he regularly appears in the Supreme Court, District Court and Magistrates Court of SA, and Federal Court of Australia.
Sally Monaghan and Rachael Siow have also been awarded internal promotions in the firm.

Monaghan joined the firm’s litigation team in 2025 where she has provided technical ability, professionalism and commitment to clients.
She practises commercial dispute resolution and litigation advising businesses, organisations and individuals on a range of commercial disputes.
Monaghan has worked in commercial litigation since commencing her legal career and has previously worked at Belperio Connell Lawyers and Mediators.
Siow joined the firm’s commercial team in May 2025 where she has specialised in commercial, property and conveyancing matters.

She is fluent in multiple languages and has provided legal advice to clients from a range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Siow also has experience assisting families in relation to wills and estates and was previously a solicitor for both Chong and Co Lawyers and Straits Lawyers.

Accounting and financial advisory firm William Buck has announced two senior promotions in its Adelaide office.

Henry Schofield has been appointed partner in the firm’s business advisory division after nine years at the company.
He started at the company in 2017 as a graduate accountant before being promoted to senior roles, including business advisory manager and principal.
Schofield’s expertise includes tax planning and compliance and business restructuring across various industries, specialising in property and professional services.
Chris Franco has been appointed as partner in the wealth advisory team after joining the firm in 2018 as a paraplanner.

He has held several senior positions including principal and senior financial advisor where he specialises in superannuation, investment, insurance and entity structuring.
Prior to his time at William Buck, Franco served as a client services officer and paraplanner for Beyond Bank Australia.

BDO Group has announced a partner promotion in its Adelaide office as part of a nationwide round of promotions.

Tenille Ireland has been promoted to a partner in the superannuation team after more than 17 years’ experience in the accounting industry.
Ireland is a self-managed superannuation fund specialist who focuses on providing compliance, accounting and taxation services for clients and working with the wealth management teams.
She has spent the past four years at BDO Group as a director of superannuation and spent more than seven years as a superannuation manager at HLB Mann Judd.
“Today’s announcement recognises the high calibre of people coming through our firm and the contribution they are making to our clients, our teams and our future,” BDO chief executive partner David Garvey said.

Ghislaine Entwisle has been appointed as a new board director for not-for-profit aged care provider ACH Group.

Entwistle has more than 20 years’ experience across private, public and non-government sectors across the Asia-Pacific, United Kingdom and Australia.
She was previously the head of retail assurance at ANZ Bank and was managing director for global consulting firm Protiviti Australia.
Entwistle has a background in both commerce and IT, where she has governed major digital transformations to modernise digital platforms and make services easier to access and use.
“As ACH Group continues to navigate significant national changes and reform, Ms Entwisle’s experience in business management and technology will be invaluable,” ACH Group board chair Imelda Lynch said.
