Mayne Pharma was one of South Australia’s biggest share market Winners of last week, rising on the back of the company naming a new board member.

The company, based in Salisbury, announced Meghan Rivera had joined the board of Mayne Pharma.

Rivera, a US resident, has more than 25 years of experience in the US pharmaceuticals industry and was currently vice president and global commercial lead for ViiV Healthcare – a leading biopharmaceutical organisation focused on prevention, treatment and cure of HIV.

Mayne Pharma chair Professor Bruce Robinson said Rivera was an “experienced executive with a wealth of US pharma experience”.

It was Spacetalk, however, that topped the Winners list last week – the last full week of trading for the FY26 financial year.

Other winners included Terramin Australia, Prophecy International and Fortifai. The latter was up a whopping 1205.88 per cent over the past year.

The broader market was down, particularly mid, small and micro cap companies – the Emerging Markets Index falling 4 per cent.
