Pedestrian hit by a truck on expressway

A pedestrian is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a truck on the Northern Expressway last night.

Emergency services were called to the Northern Expressway at Macdonald Park at 7:20 pm on Monday after reports a pedestrian was hit by a truck.

A 28-year-old man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he remains.
