Teen charged after late night incident at Rostrevor
An 18-year-old has been arrested over an alleged violent car theft attempt outside a suburban house.
Police say they received numerous calls from residents at about 11.15pm reporting a disturbance at the corner of Lindsay Street and Highland Avenue, Rostrevor.
It’s alleged a man approached and repeatedly punched a man as he was getting out of his car at his home, and demanded his car.

The 18-year-old victim received head injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Police arrested the suspect who they allege was armed with a knife.
The Rostrevor man was charged with aggravated robbery, assault police and illegal interference. He was refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.
