Man charged with murder after northern suburbs stabbing
A man has been charged with murder after allegedly stabbing another man in Salisbury Downs last night, with the victim now identified by police.
Police say they were called to an incident on Londonderry Avenue around 6.45pm on Wednesday after reports a man had been stabbed.
The 31-year-old man from Modbury Heights died despite efforts from paramedics, police said.
The victim has been identified by police as Jordan Torrans, with his family releasing a photograph.

The man, who was known to the victim, was interviewed by police and subsequently charged with murder.
He is due to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court today.
