Today, readers comment on households being squeezed to lower inflation, apartments at an old bus terminal and hospital pillows.

Commenting on the story: Interest rates on rise again
Unbelievable! Petrol prices haven’t come down, food prices haven’t dropped. Perhaps the RBA could see that rising costs aren’t from people’s outrageous spending.
This is utterly ridiculous. It’s difficult to understand how driving people into bankruptcy is a positive way forward for the economy. – Shelley Lush
Commenting on the story: Hotel, hundreds of apartments plan for old bus station
This sounds like an excellent development for our city. The old Trims building should also be demolished and a similar development commenced on that site. – Arthur Porter
Commenting on the story: Towels for pillow at Women’s and Children’s Hospital
Back in January, I was taken to hospital by ambulance with a suspected stroke and ended up at the RAH around 11.30 at night.
Luckily there was no ramping and I was admitted straight away but there was no pillow on the bed and it was so uncomfortable. I eventually asked the nurse if I could have a pillow and she said there weren’t any available and gave me one towel to use. This didn’t help at all and I ended up with a very stiff neck and headache.
Several hours later she did find a pillow for me, which was a big help. I couldn’t fault the treatment in general, everyone was very helpful and I was seen to straight away. But I can’t understand the lack of pillows, that is very strange. – Pamela French
