They have the best spaghetti marinara. I have been to this restaurant over 60 times and that is all I order. Just a great meal, can highly recommend, good people and great history if you get time to look around the walls. – Robert Crawford

Not happy with this review of La Tratt! Already has long lines waiting for tables for “spur of the moment/where will we eat?” decisions and needing to book well in advance for special occasions, and this very appropriately positive review will make it even more difficult. A tradition in so many ways. Not only is Billy a lunchtime legend for those who gathered there, but if you look closely on the wall, you’ll see an original wooden and gold leaf sign that says “EDITORIAL STAFF ONLY”.
It comes from the now demolished editorial department of The Advertiser, from its proudest and long past days. Those who are left from these halcyon days, and can remember, gather regularly at this magnificent Adelaide dining treasure to celebrate the glory of The Tratt and what has passed. – Barry Hailstone
