A man who used a firearm to rob a southern suburbs service station on Monday night escaped despite a search by dog patrols and the police helicopter.
Police said the men walked into the service station on Commercial Road at Seaford at about 9.50pm last night.
He demanded cash and cigarettes before leaving on foot. No staff were injured.
Police patrols searched the area with help from dogs and PolAir but the offender wasn’t found.
He’s described as wearing a grey/brown jumper, black t-shirt and black trackpants, and had a black mask covering his face.
