Commenting on the story: Rejected: City tower plan falls over

There can be no possible justification for these grossly out of scale projects. The proliferation of excessively tall towers in recent years is a blight on Adelaide’s generally low-rise skyline. – Stephen White

Commenting on the opinion piece: Weighing up the price of top-end tax cuts

The Stage 3 tax cuts are being presented by some as a solution to bracket creep. Nonsense. Governments love bracket creep because it automatically increases tax receipts without putting rates up.

The only sensible solution to bracket creep is to index the annual income levels at which brackets change. Simple. – John Irving

Commenting on the story: Australia considers signing up to ‘cow fart’ pledge

Agricultural Minister Murray Watt is leading us into slashing meat production and raising prices.

This global slash methane pact is not going to end well. I mean where does it end. It’s ridiculous. This pact should not be supported by political parties in Australia.

Labor should be considering not hurting Australian families any further than they already have and the Nationals Leader David Littleproud should be supported. – Suzanne Vasanji

Commenting on Your views: on health and history and more

The statement by the Premier that there is no alternative to the destruction of an important part of South Australia’s history – the Police Barracks – in order to construct a new Womens and Children’s Hospital, is laughable and absurd.

I’d much rather Government House on North Terrace be reutilised for this purpose, with the face being retained, and relocate the State Government to some other site. – Ray Goulter
