In a statement today, Commissioner Bruce Lander said the charged public officer was a 64-year-old man from Modbury Heights.

A 25-year-old man, who is not a public officer, has also been charged with two counts of bribery in relation to the same allegations.

Both men have been bailed to appear in Adelaide Magistrates Court on January 16.
