Public officer charged after ICAC investigation
A public officer from the Riverland has been charged with abuse of public office.

Independent Commissioner Against Corruption Bruce Lander said in a statement today the woman had been arrested and charged with one offence, alleged to have occurred between April 16 and July 3 this year.

“It will be alleged that the 43-year-old woman from Waikerie introduced a prohibited item into a correctional facility,” he said.
The woman has been bailed to appear in the Berri Magistrates Court on September 18.
