Reds to face Sydney in FFA Cup
Inaugural FFA Cup winners Adelaide United will take on two-time A-League winners Sydney FC in the FFA Cup round of 16.
The draw for the last-16 phase of the national knockout tournament took place on Wednesday afternoon, throwing up a number of other intriguing fixtures including a clash between Melbourne Victory and NSW Premier League outfit Rockdale City Suns.
A-League sides Melbourne City and Wellington Phoenix were also paired together.
The matches will take place on August 25-26 and September 1-2, with specific game dates to be announced on Friday.
