2015 Youth Poster Exhibition – Celebrating SA Refugee Week

Jun 10, 2015, updated May 13, 2025

The 2015 Youth Poster Exhibition celebrating SA Refugee Week, is part of a growing visual dialogue describing multiculturalism, anti-racism and human rights, and celebrating cultural diversity.

Students from primary to tertiary level have created posters that celebrate the UN International Refugee Convention by communicating how refugees are welcomed, become part of, or contribute to the Australian “family”.

The exhibition celebrates the courage, resilience, strength and contributions of people of refugee background.

The 2015 Youth Poster Exhibition is one of many events that will celebrate SA Refugee Week. Other events include Refugee Portrait Exhibition at The City Library and Francis Street “laneway” and the Refugee Week Soccer Carnival at Burton. SA Refugee Week will be launched by His Excellency the Honorable Hieu Van Le AO at Government House.

Co-presented with the Migrant Resource Centre of SA and UniSA’s School of Art, Architecture and Design
