The Oscars may have the most sought-after red carpet, the Logies may have an odd-shaped statuette, and the Archibald Prize is invariably controversial but the gong that really makes a difference – by boosting Australia’s economic fortunes – is up for grabs again.
Applications for the Business SA Export Awards which celebrate exporting excellence in South Australia open on 4 May 2015.
Through showcasing South Australia’s most successful exporters, the awards inspire greater involvement in exporting and recognise these outstanding businesses that call South Australia home.
The awards operate on two-tiers – with exporters first achieving state distinction through the Business SA Export Awards program, before progressing as national finalists to the Australian Export Awards. As national finalists, South Australian award winners will be benchmarked against their peers across the country, with winners receiving national recognition for their international success.
Winners of the Business SA 2015 Export Awards will be formally announced on Friday 23 October at a luncheon to be held at the National Wine Centre of Australia.
All winners automatically progress as finalists in the 53rd Australian Export Awards to compete for an Australian industry award, including the coveted Australian Exporter of the Year.
