Port Adelaide’s AFL onballer Andrew Moore is facing a charge of intentionally making contact with an umpire during the club’s SANFL match against North Adelaide.
Moore, who hasn’t played an AFL games this season, fronts the SANFL tribunal on Tuesday night.
Moore has been charged with intentionally making contact with field umpire Craig Fleer following an incident after the quarter-time siren in the Magpies’ game against North Adelaide at Alberton on Saturday (see footage below in the SANFL’s Footy Fix).
The case was referred directly to the tribunal by the SANFL’s incident review panel.
In other SANFL news, North Adelaide forward Lewis Johnston is undergoing scans to determine the extent of his ankle injury suffered against Port.
Johnston, who was unable to return to the field after the opening five minutes, has been cleared of any fractures or breaks but is expected miss Saturday’s Anzac Day clash with South Adelaide at Prospect Oval.
