Simran Sethi and Sylvia Earle are two of the world’s most inspiring environmental messengers. Their mission is both clear and hopeful – to inspire us all to take responsibility for, and play a role in creating a better future for the earth for all generations to come.
Earle‘s focus is on developing a global network of areas on the land and in the ocean to safeguard the living systems that provide the underpinnings of global processes, from maintaining biodiversity and yielding basic life support services to providing stability and resiliency in response to accelerating climate change.
Sethi “The Green Messenger,” believes the conversation needs to change, and fast. She wants to tell the story of the ecosystem so that it resonates—with the meat eater, the vegan, the single mum, big agribusiness and corporations.
Following their involvement in WOMADelaide’s Planet Talks series, hear these two environmental champions discuss their passion for and dedication to a sustainable world.
