In-conversation with eco champions

Following their involvement in WOMADelaide’s Planet Talks series, hear these two environmental champions discuss their passion for and dedication to a sustainable world.

Sylvia A. Earle

A pioneering American marine science legend, oceanographer, and explorer-in-residence at the National Geographic Society. Sylvia A. Earle has led more than 100 expeditions, and speaks with urgency to awaken public ignorance about the roles oceans can play.

Simran Sethi

Named “the environmental messenger” by Vanity Fair and a top ten eco-hero of the planet by the UK’s Independent, Simran Sethi is a journalist and educator focused on environmentalism, sustainability and social change.

This event will be facilitated by RiAus Director, Dr Paul Willis and is co-presented with WOMADelaide’s Planet Talks Series.
