Tonight’s sell-out clash between Adelaide and Collingwood at the Adelaide Oval sees favourite sons return for both teams.

The Crows have recalled full-forward Taylor Walker after he completed a year-long rehabilitation from a serious knee injury, while veteran defender Nick Maxwell returns for the Pies.

Adelaide defender Brent Reilly, sitting on 199 games for the club, has been dropped, and young forward Charlie Cameron gets his first chance at AFL level.

A well-timed bye for both clubs has allowed great mates Nathan Buckley and Brendon Sanderson to recall key players for Collingwood’s first visit to Adelaide Oval. The pair have combined for eight changes for the match, with the Magpies recalling Nick Maxwell, Alan Toovey and Clinton Young. Adelaide’s five returning faces are spearheaded by Taylor Walker as the Crows seek to rebound from their startling loss to the Demons.

Key: Collingwood are flying under the radar at 5-2 and there is a sense they will have too much firepower in midfield to allow the Crows a win that sneak them into the top eight.

Tip: Magpies by 20 points
