Now open at the Hawke Centre’s Kerry Packer Civic Gallery, until 11 June.
This exhibition showcases the 175-year journey of an organisation run by people with passion and foresight – the Royal Agricultural & Horticultural Society of South Australia Inc.(RA&HSSA). Follow the journey of this progressive and influential body.
Join us also for the complementary lecture, Sharing the good earth: the society behind the Royal Show, with South Australian historian, Rob Linn. The lecture will be delivered 14 May, 6pm, Allan Scott Auditorium, University of South Australia – register for this free event.
These About Time events are co-presented by the Hawke Centre and RA&HSSA.
While the views presented by speakers within the Hawke Centre public program are their own and are not necessarily those of either the University of South Australia or The Hawke Centre, they are presented in the interest of open debate and discussion in the community and reflect our themes of: strengthening our democracy – valuing our diversity – and building our future.
