Nominate a Heritage Hero

Apr 02, 2014, updated May 13, 2025

The 2014 Heritage Heroes  Awards will recognise those individuals and groups who have made an outstanding contribution to the upkeep of our state’s heritage. This is an excellent way to honour these people and their role in our community, conserving heritage for future generations to learn from and enjoy.

Nominations close Friday 11 April, see the Hawke Centre website for more details. The awards will be presented on Wednesday 28 May.

These awards are proudly presented by the SA Heritage Council, in partnership with the Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources and the Hawke Centre.

While the views presented by speakers within the Hawke Centre public program are their own and are not necessarily those of either the University of South Australia or The Hawke Centre, they are presented in the interest of open debate and discussion in the community and reflect our themes of: strengthening our democracy – valuing our diversity – and building our future.
