Ecuador’s “Identities” – now showing at the Kerry Packer Civic Gallery, until 30 April.

This exhibition encourages greater knowledge and appreciation of Indigenous Ecuadorian cultural traditions and the use of art as a means to create a lively and dynamic intercultural dialogue.

The artwork was created by Grupo Achala, comprising of six Ecuadorian artists, who strive for intercultural dialogue and share a passion for art in all its manifestations.

While the views presented by speakers within the Hawke Centre public program are their own and are not necessarily those of either the University of South Australia or The Hawke Centre, they are presented in the interest of open debate and discussion in the community and reflect our themes of: strengthening our democracy – valuing our diversity – and building our future.
